Before my retirement, I taught courses on Narrative and Management, Narrative and Politics, Public Management, and Strategic Management. Since retiring, I have continued to teach a course on Narrative and Management at Victoria College, University of Toronto. I will be offering that course in the fall semester 2026, and will post the syllabus when it becomes available.

My new book Public Representations has a chapter entitled “(A Narrative About) Teaching Public Sector Narrative,” in which I discuss my experience teaching courses on narrative over 30 years, including how I started and my efforts at continuous improvement on my pedagogy.
